Chronic Pain Anonymous is an anonymous fellowship but not a secret one. Public information is essential, and CPA is grateful for its partnership with media professionals in sharing a message of hope for those suffering from the emotional and spiritual effects of living with chronic pain and chronic illness.
Toward these ends, the concept of anonymity is vital. Media professionals have always honored the anonymity of Twelve-Step members. Therefore, when covering CPA, the use of only first names or pseudonyms (indicated as such) of CPA members is requested. In addition, please obscure the faces of those who identify themselves as CPA members in on-camera interviews and photographs.
Interview Requests
CPA staff and members from around the world are available to discuss their personal stories of recovery and can provide a national or local perspective, depending on your story needs. We welcome all inquiries and interview requests.
